Possibilistic Linear Programming Problem involving Multi-choice Parameters
Abstract
In this study, a new solution method is proposed for the possibilistic linear programming problem. The right-hand side parameters of the constraint are considered to be multi-choice. The cost coefficient of the objective function is considered to be triangular possibility distribution. In this model, the possibility is characterized by the triangular possibility distribution whereas the multi-choice is handled by the linear combination of binary variable technique. In order to solve the proposed model, a crisp equivalent deterministic multi-objective mixed-integer linear programming problem is established. Then, solve the model using the fuzzy programming approach. Finally, an example numerical model is provided to test the methodology and solution
procedure.
